About Us

Inspired by the Skogafoss Waterfall in Iceland, our brand provides a variety of unique nature-inspired designs that embody the beauty of the outdoors. At Skogafoss, we are in business to create sustainable clothing and motivate a greater appreciation for nature. We want to build a community of people who care deeply about the environment and who want to make eco-conscious choices to protect our world.


To demonstrate our commitment, we have integrated several services into our website including Offset and Ecologi.

Carbon Offset

With Offset, we are able to be completely carbon neutral from the moment your shirts are shipped to its delivery at your door. This service calculates CO₂ emissions based on the number of orders we receive and how far the order travels to determine how much carbon needs to be offset. We then simply donate the required amount of money through Offset which is currently funding the Jarí Para REDD+ Avoided Unplanned Deforestation project in the Amazon Rainforest, a Verified Carbon Standard project certified by Pachama. 

Planting Trees

Ecologi is our way of going beyond carbon neutrality. With this service, we donate a percentage of our profits from each individual order to a restoration project to plant trees. Currently, we are supporting The Eden Reforestation Project which is now planting trees in Madagascar. Check out our progress here

Climate Change

We believe that climate change is one of the most crucial issues facing our planet. In order to effectively fight climate change, consumers must have more options to make choices that benefit the Earth instead of hurt it. However, the fashion industry is littered with companies that have little regard to their impact on the Earth.

One of the largest polluters contributing to climate change is the fashion industry. The fashion industry is responsible for 10% of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined. At this pace, the fashion industry’s greenhouse gas emissions will surge more than 50% by 2030. 

This is where we saw an opportunity to bring about real change to better our common home. While we are starting incredibly small, we have ambitious goals to constantly improve our sustainable practices and to be an inspiration for other clothing companies to follow suit.
